I guess I should clarify this first. By late night, I mean 9:30pm. For some people, this may be their normal workout time, not so much for me. I usually get up at 5:30am to push play and get my workout done. That's the time that works best for me. My day starts early and ends about 12 hours later, so I make accommodations to fit in my workout.
Last night was a little different. My day was pretty well booked all day, followed by fire company training at night.
So you're probably asking, "What does this have to do with working out?!?"
The main point I'm trying to get across is, DON'T DELAY!! I'm very guilty of procrastination myself, but it's also one of my big changes I'm working on. It's too easy to just push something off until the next day, or my personal favorite, "I'll get to it then..." That brings about the question, when is then? One of the best ways for me to overcome this problem is to make a list. I'm very big into making and sticking to a list. I right down every week what I WILL accomplish for that coming week. I place that list in a spot that I pass by multiple times a day so I make sure to follow it. Write down any goals you can think of. These goals could be anything from, working out, to building your business, to paying the bills! Just make a list. You will notice how much easier it is to stay on the path to success.
Even though my day was busy, I found time to improve on my health. I went downstairs, popped in a DVD and pushed play. Find time for yourself, find time to improve your life, and remember, DON'T DELAY!!

Supplements
So I know one of my major questions I was always asking people was, "what supplements should I take?'. Well every person is different. What supplements you take, depends on what your goals are. If your looking to gain muscle, then protein is a great supplement to take. If weight loss is your goal, then maybe a meal replacement would be good for you. The are hundreds of "right answers" if you see what I mean.
Supplements are also to be taken properly. With protein specifically, you need to be drinking water along with your shake or bar. Protein causes your body to retain more water, which means you need to drink more for that deficit. A physician reassured this in me after she told me of her one patient who recently had a kidney transplant. He wasn't drinking water with his protein, causing his kidneys to strain them self to process the extra protein in his body.
I don't share this story to scare you away from supplements. Supplements can be an incredible tool if they are used properly. If your taking supplements or are looking to start taking supplements, I just ask that you use them properly.

Home Fitness
Hello,
What I'm going to talk about today is home fitness. Well what I'm actually asking you to do, is contact me. Send me an e-mail at codymessinger93@gmail.com and tell me about yourself. I have a huge passion for fitness and just living a healthy life style and I want to know more about you and what kind of goals you want to achieve. I don't care if you've never worked out in your life, are currently working out with or without beachbody products, or a Olympic gold medalist! The main key to success of anything is keeping yourself accountable and helping others stay accountable.
By e-mailing me, we can keep each other motivated for success. I sometimes slack off with my fitness and nutrition but by having you help me stay on track, I can help you stay right with me.
I know I said I'd talk about home fitness but I feel this is a better way to get to know other people interested in the same activities as me. Check back often as I will continue to post about fitness and healthy living in general...and yes, I promise I will next time.
Until then, I hope to hear from you soon.
